Yes, you can train the AI agent by entering plain text as training data.

Can I try a demo?
Yes, on the 'How it works' page you can find and try the demo. The AI agent you see there is trained on the content of the eloquent.chat website. You can ask any questions related to the Eloquent website. You can also create your own demo by signing up for free. You will receive €5 credit on your new account and you don't need to provide any payment details.
What type of data can I use to train the AI agent?
You can use web pages, documents or individual text to train an AI agent. Finding the right data is important for the functioning of the AI agent. The better the data, the better the answers from the AI agent.
Will an AI agent be automatically retrained when the website content changes?
Currently, you have to go to the dashboard and click the Retrain button to retrain the AI agent. We are working on a feature that will allow you to automate and perform this process periodically.

Yes. You can upload PDF files to train the AI agent.
How do I add the AI agent to my website?
Each AI agent receives its own unique embed snippet, you can place the AI agent on your own site by placing the snippet provided by us in the head of your website. If you find that complicated, you can contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
How do I train the AI agent?
You can train the AI agent by adding a link to a website, a sitemap, a Zendesk Help Center, or a Gitbook. Enter a URL and the AI agent will be trained with all the data available on that URL. You can also upload PDF files or add individual text to train the chat AI agent.

Usually just a few minutes. It largely depends on the number of pages you want to train on. But usually, it should be ready within a few minutes.
